    Tom Pemberton will proudly launch the Young British Farming Awards. Heading into it's 3rd year, the awards celebrate the passion, innovation and hard work of the next generation shaping UK agriculture. The launch will outline the aims of the awards, spotlight some of the 2025 winners and highlight why recognising emerging talent is vital for the future of British farming.

    A dedicated panel will explore how farming and food production could be integrated into the British school curriculum, highlighting the benefits of hands-on agricultural learning and greater awareness of where our food comes from. Speakers from across the sector will discuss how introducing pupils to farming can inspire future careers and strengthen the UK’s connection to its rural industries. The topic is especially timely as the Liberal Democrats have included farm and food education within their latest manifesto, signalling growing political momentum behind the idea.
