Kate Ryder
Kate Ryder leads the renewable energy origination team at Good Energy, where she drives bold and innovative contracting that supports the growth of UK renewables. Her team works directly with generators and developers to structure funding and long-term power purchase agreements (PPAs) for both new and existing renewable projects.
Good Energy currently holds more than 3,000 PPAs with UK generators, enabling generators to access stable revenues while supplying Good Energy's domestic and business customers with 100% renewable, time-matched power. By linking generation to customer demand on a half-hourly basis, their work helps maximise earnings for renewable projects and demonstrates how smart trading can accelerate the transition to a cleaner, more resilient energy system.
At LAMMA 2026, Kate will share insights on how landowners, farmers and independent generators can benefit from emerging PPA models, time-matching, and the evolving market for renewable power.
