Having served 23 years in the British Army as both a Mechanic and later Reconnaissance Commander, James finished his time as a Sergeant Major in a Cavalry Squadron in Dec 2021. Since leaving the Army he has been able to fulfil a lifelong passion and secure a job within the agricultural sector. James’s current role is the Estate Operations Officer at a land-based college in Norfolk, jointly responsible for the 200ha mixed farm along with the college grounds and wider estate areas.
