Helen is a senior market analyst for AHDB, focused on grain and oilseed markets with over 15 years’ experience. She's particularly interested in the role of speculators, the UK’s place in the global market, and oats.

Growing up in a family of butchers and sheep farmers sparked her interest in how changing demand impacts agriculture. Helen went on to study Agri-Food Marketing at Harper Adams University College. She was President of her Students’ Union and worked promoting local food before joining AHDB in 2009.
