Helen has been involved in the land-based sector all her life, having been born on a farm, lived on a farm, she then chose to study Agriculture at College before returning to work in the industry on a mixed arable and livestock farm. After a restructure on the farm she worked on Helen came to teach at the College and has progressed through to Head of Department.

Away from the day job Helen is still actively involved in farming and spends her spare time out in the Countryside.
