Charles runs a dairy and arable farm in Warwickshire in partnership with his two brothers. They keep 350 Holstein cows indoors and milk them both traditionally and using a robotic system. The farm also grows wheat, oilseed rape, oats, barley, potatoes and maize on 1,300 acres. He believes the farming industry needs to do more to bridge what he sees as a knowledge gap between the producer and the consumer, and volunteers for his local agricultural society.
