John Handbury

Spending his childhood on a farm gave John an insight into agriculture and an avid interest in farm machinery and methods. John graduated with a BSC in Agricultural Engineering from Silsoe. He has gained knowledge and experience working for and with international companies both in Europe, UK and America helping to develop new state of the art technology up to the present day. John has run his own company for the last 20 years specializing in application technology and consultancy. Previous professional activities and memberships include: Member of Technical committees for the design specification and future project planning. Worked with Regulatory Authority in Germany to obtain BBA approval pesticide injection equipment. Chairman of the AEA Chemical Application Commitee. Setting up the U.K. sprayer test program. Member of the Pesticide Forum. Member of the Pesticide Farming Alliance John received a LAMMA Trophy in 2007 for the Best New Product or Innovation in the field of Electronics or Information and Communications Technology. He joined the LAMMA judging panel in 2022.
