Lutz creates a world first: mobile, fast and efficient pumping of grease & gear oil - without electricity or compressed air.
Pump specialist Lutz has announced the launch of what it believes is the first pump of its kind in the world that can be operated with any commercially available cordless drill.
The company says the Lutz LubeDrive enables the simple and energy-saving pumping of all common lubricating greases and gear oils - directly on site, independent of stationary infrastructure.
According to Lutz, the pump is universally applicable, meaning it is compatible with all common lubricating greases and gear oils. As it can be operated by just a cordless drill, without the need for electricity, compressed air or manual force, it provides maximum mobility for users. The company also says the Lutz LubeDrive is faster than a hand pump and significantly quieter than pneumatic systems.
The company anticipates the product will be highly suited to maintenance personnel in industrial plants and workshops as well as agricultural and construction machinery companies with centralized lubrication systems.
It could also be particularly useful for mobile service teams that need to top up gear oils and greases directly on site.
