Longcliffe Quarries Ltd is an independent family-owned company. For nearly 100 years, the company’s Derbyshire quarries have been a market-leading supplier of high purity calcium carbonates. Longcliffe produces around 100 essential products for a huge range of critical industries, from animal feeds, and pet foods to glass and plasterboards, from plastics and adhesives to agricultural lime, pH correction and flue gas desulphurisation.
Longcliffe is continually striving to increase sustainability across its operation. With a target of being carbon net zero to the weighbridge by 2030, they have invested substantially in reducing energy consumption and fossil fuel usage - which is demonstrated by the installation of a two-turbine sustainable wind energy source at their Ryder Point quarry and solar panels powering their office operations.
Longcliffe is delighted to exhibit at Lamma again, paving the way for the launch of SpHerical® granulated lime in 2026.
