The posts are made from redwood timber* GROWN IN SWEDEN IN OR NEAR THE ARCTIC  which gives added strength due to its VERY SLOW RATE OF GROWTH. The posts are KILN DRIED and PRESSURE TREATED with either rot resistant CREOSOTE OR TANASOTE ®.

OCTOPOST offers a 25 YEAR GUARANTEE but the posts have a VERY LONG SERVICE LIFE OF 40+ YEARS. 

TANASOTE ® is a unique next-generation, wood preservative in a copper-oil base, designed for exceptional durability, making it ideal for long-life fencing. Not only are Tanasote® posts engineered for long term performance, but they’re also environmentally responsible. They offer a low-odour finish, reduced leaching, and a cleaner, more pleasant handling experience compared to traditional creosote-treated posts.
