Part of the Severn Valley Woodworks group of companies, Challow Products are specialists in crop drying and storage systems.

Challow Products was established in 1965 and over the years the company has grown, developed and introduced a diverse range of timber products to the agricultural market.  By far our most successful contribution is the development in the early 1970’s of the on-floor grain drying system, developed, and improved by the company in response to farmers demands for a reliable method of drying grain quickly and efficiently, without damaging the crop.

We are the original crop storage specialists and have been supplying complete integrated systems for all crop drying and storage needs for nearly 50 years.

Our first floor was installed in 1974.  Since then we have completed thousands of installations both in the UK and Europe.  Our products are constructed using the best quality timber, allowing unobstructed storage, speed of handling and dependable, finely controlled economical drying.

We hold both PEFC™ (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification) and FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council) certification, which means the timber used in the manufacture of our products is sourced from professionally managed and responsible suppliers who are committed to active replantation programmes in the forests they harvest.  It means we can show traceability for the timber used in our products and prove that the timber we use comes from sustainable resources.

As a company our ethos is simple – complete customer satisfaction.  We achieve this by planning and delivering a simple, effective store design for every customer.  We use the very latest technology in our milling and processing operations - this, combined with the traditional skills and knowledge of our experienced workforce, means we can ensure quality control and produce a superior product with design features that are unique to Challow.
