The Standen SR400 planter is a development of the already popular SR200 model and is aimed at growers harvesting on a 4 row system.
The planter runs off a hydraulic side shift drawbar offering the grower the choice of running the planter inline to the tractor or offset to the right, for use in destoned beds. It can also be run with a cultivator underneath to create a one-pass cultivation and planting system.
Incorporating the best of the SR200 features into the SR400, the planter features:
- The revolutionary new cup design which is capable of handling longer and larger seed sizes.
- The updated in-cab touch screen controls operate the hydraulic space selector to give high levels of control over seed spacing and ensure accurate planting.
- Split rear hood and automatic pressure sensing system which forms perfect rows, growers can ensure accurate planting at fast forward speeds.
