The MJ39 Rotary Hedge Cutter replacement head outperforms flail systems in terms of fuel consumption and presentation. The 1.43m deck is available for power arms and excavators in the 10-14 tonne range. A single rotor head in a 0.8m working width is now available for excavators in the 2.5-10 tonne range.
The MJ39 rotary head benefits from a gearbox driveline powering rotors with four cut-and-mulch blades which delivers a tidy presentation when thinning material or clearing dense brush, all in one pass. The hydraulic motor is fitted with an overrun clutch, protecting the hydraulic system when the motor stops.
