HV Fans for More Time in the Field

SPAL UK is making a return to LAMMA in 2026 to present the latest additions to its range of energy efficient, intelligent cooling solutions for modern agricultural applications.

SPAL’s suite of High Voltage (HV) fans now includes an 800V version which offers the most powerful cooling with less current draw, extending the range of the vehicle and more time on each charge out in the field.  Currently available in 850W, 2kW, 5kW power outputs, HV fans are ideal for battery cooling and electronics cooling in autonomous and remote-operated vehicles and machinery.

Another product aimed at maximising energy and thermal management efficiency in EVs is the brushless drive coolant pump available in 12V, 24V, 48V and 800Vs.  Delivering thermal management in electric or hybrid motors inverters and electronic control units, smart operation allows precise flow regulation of the coolant maintaining optimal temperatures for these components, preventing overheating and system failures.

Combining safety with efficiency, the fully sealed brushless drive units meet IP68 and IP6K9K specifications, are resistant to corrosion and water ingress. Software driven with CAN, PWM and LIN versions available as well as HVIL optional, the built-in diagnostic and safety features enable the fans to maintain performance in challenging environmental conditions while delivering 40,000 hours of operation.
