Sprayer Nozzles and Caps

They may be a relatively small piece of equipment, but nozzles are an essential part of day to day use in the agricultural industry. The correct nozzle or cap for crop spraying can make the world of difference when it comes to increasing workload efficiency and the accuracy of your spray. To reduce drift and enhance the accuracy of the spray you should ensure that the correct nozzle is chosen for the appropriate task.

BFS ABJ-90

The world-famous Billericay Bubble Jet is now available as a 90% lower drift nozzle. We have reduced the number of sub 150 micron droplets to produce an outstanding, low drift option. Coverage is maintained by an excellent distribution of droplets. Fan angle is dependent on working pressure, but between 100 and 110 degrees.

BFS Exray XC Extended Range Nozzle

Achieve up to 90% drift reduction, and cover a wider application rate (volume) from each nozzle size in use. Get the same rates of coverage that you would normally need 3 nozzles to achieve. The nozzles are available as either straight down or angled (30 degree) versions.

BFS Twin Cap

The Twin Cap with bayonet fitting, designed specifically for the Air Bubble Jets, gives forward and backward-facing angles to improve spray penetration. Enabling faster speeds, higher volumes and increased crop penetration. Also suitable for use with standard flat fan nozzles. The 30 degrees forward and 30 degrees backward facing nozzles in the Twin Cap, ensure optimal crop coverage and penetration under the crop canopy. This would be ideal on leafy crops such as potatoes for blight control.

Liquid Fertiliser Applicators

When applying liquid fertiliser, accuracy is essential. Choosing the correct liquid fertiliser applicator can be difficult, so why not let us showcase some of the best on the market.
Agricultural specialists understand the importance of using the correct farm fertiliser spreader for the job and here at BFS we pride ourselves on stocking everything you need. We understand the importance of providing products that will ensure your project runs smoothly. Our liquid fertiliser applicator selection allows for consistency, accuracy and enables you to achieve professional and productive results, no matter what the task.

BFS 5Star Liquid fertiliser Nozzle

The BFS 5Star is a five outlet, quick fit bayonet fertiliser nozzle, which fits most standard nozzle bodies. It allows you to apply liquid fertiliser and then quickly swap over to spraying without removing them.

At 12 kph you can apply between 80 and 240 litres per ha by changing the pressure, controlled by the rate governor. Higher rates can be achieved but at slower forward speeds. They can be used for variable rate application or for quick rate changes when moving from field to field or to different crops, without changing nozzle size. Optimum pressure range is between 1.25 bar to 2.75 bar max. It is important not to use higher pressures which can result in excessive scorch.

BFS Dribble Bars

The Dribble Bar accurately applies liquid fertiliser through four equally spaced openings along the bar. The rates can be pre-set to one of eleven different flow-rates by just a simple adjustment of the flow dial. Rates can be altered in the field without removing the dribble bars from the boom.
