1. New generation of Kverneland shear bolt Variomat® ploughs
New shear bolt legs
The new shear bolt legs are stronger than ever. Their new design enables a shear cut of the bolts under a pressure as high as 5,000kg. There is no stretching of the bolt which could lead to a possible deformation of the leg under pressure. The new design ensures that the shear-bolt can be instantly replaced in an easy manner which guarantees a consistent ploughing quality. Spare bolts are stored on the headstock, providing smart, easy access
“3D” skimmers
Well-adjusted skimmers are crucial in many respects. Skimmers that are set up correctly have a direct impact on the quality of ploughing. However, due to the adjustment of some skimmers being difficult, it is often not done when adjusting the ploughing depth. As already introduced on the new generation of auto-reset models back in 2019, the central adjustable skimmers bring convenience in quickly changing the working depth to always have the optimal result (a).
Kverneland «3D» new generation skimmers offer more than the adjustment of the working depth. They enable ploughing in any soil conditions, residues, and speed via easy and quick adjustments. Prevent stone blockages or favor a gentle cut of grassland by changing the angle of the skimmer via 2 eccentric bolts only (b). Adapt to the speed of operations by moving the skimmer forward (c). For specific trash and soil conditions, just set the skimmer to «More On-land work» via a lateral repositioning (d).
Kverneland hydraulic wheels uniqueness
A new range of wheels is available for the Kverneland new generation shear bolt ploughs: rear and frame mounted wheels, mechanical and hydraulic. Changing the working depth has been made easier and, even after reversal at headlands, the settings are saved, which is a unique feature from Kverneland.
Optimum maneuverability and extra safety during transport
Kverneland is the inventor of the Trailer Transport Solution (TTS). It offers the possibility to maneuver safely in narrow passes or roundabouts. It also protects the headstock from unnecessary stress during transport. The Kverneland plough behaves just like a trailer behind a tractor. The pivot point of the tractor and implement combination is in the middle. Therefore, there is no tilting out. The TTS is available on the Kverneland 3300 B Variomat and 3400 B Variomat.
