⚠️ Does Winter Linseed suffer from pests?

🐞 Crucially, Winter Linseed does not suffer from ANY flea beetle damage. Cabbage Stem Flea Beetles only hunt for Brassica's (like OSR) and Flax Flea Beetle's are in hibernation during establishment and are only active once the vulnerable cotyledon stage is over.

🐛 Slugs provide minimal pressure, with only a few confirmed cases amongst over a million hectares of crop. This includes the following Wheat crop, part of what makes Winter Linseed such a good break crop!

🐦 Pigeons may affect Linseed, and is likely the greatest pest threat. In past times, pigeons would fly miles to settle in OSR crops rather than Linseed, but as OSR acreages are being reduced due to CSFB, pigeons are landing in Linseed more. Keep them off the crop the same way you do for OSR!
