  • Family-run business first in UK to become a QFD

Family run engineering firm Miganglia have become the first dealer in the UK to have achieved the Qualified Fronius Dealer status. The status means the company sell the simplest to more advanced Fronius manual welding range and are capable of training and demonstrating the equipment, plus providing service and support where required. But most of all this is a mark of trust in the firm.

Miganglia, based in Norfolk, East Anglia, was launched 37 years ago initially to satisfy an increasing demand from car mechanics and dealerships. As cars became more sophisticated, this demand fell away and now customers come from the agricultural repair and maintenance, and food production industries. According to owner Ben Chapman, keeping a diverse customer base and providing a personal touch is key to staying buoyant. He states, “Particularly in this industry people do still buy from people, without a shadow of a doubt.”
