  • The busy harvest period comes with many heavily loaded tractors and trailers on public highways. Below we cover two of the major risks associated with machinery in field and on the roads.

  • During the year, most farms use contractors to complete work on the land by hedge cutting, silage and combining to name a few.

  • Every grower knows that proper fertiliser can bring big improvements in the quality of their crops, but a year-long test of using Bionature’s smart liquid fertilisers for winter wheat has achieved unprecedented results-  a new record for the farm.

Bionature farmers are no stranger to using our range of products, but this year a bespoke combination of products was used to deliver a 120% return on investment with a 78.4% increase in head count.

  • Bionature UK’s smart liquid fertilisers have helped a longstanding customer win two YEN gold awards.

Lincolnshire farmer Tim Lamyman has used our products to grow YEN-winning crops five times to date and this year he had top yields for oilseed rape and cereals.

  • From weeks of snow in the spring to one of the hottest and driest summers on record, 2018 has been an unpredictable year for growers, but for Bionature customers it’s been another excellent year.

  • Following the successful launch of the Maschio UNICO mounted ploughs last summer, a new bigger and ‘beefed up’ semi-mounted Mirco plough will be on the Maschio stand for an exclusive showing at LAMMA [Hall 6, OPICO Stand 6.230].

Expecting to be on sale in the UK this autumn, the new plough is based on a larger 160mm x 160mm main beam frame and has the option for in-furrow or on land/in-furrow ploughing to help keep the plough working the land, whilst protecting soil structure, in a range of conditions.

Newly Developed 200 kva PTO tractor driven generator launch.

  • With an increasing demand from end users for a machine that can process straw, hay, silage or haylage with little or no adjustment for feeding, chopping or bedding, Kidd Farm Machinery Ltd  have developed the 475T TC – the first of its kind on the market -  and will be shown at LAMMA 2019 at the NEC  (Hall 6,  Stand No. 200).

  • Farmers attending LAMMA 2019 can get a clearer idea of how their BPS payments may reduce from 2020-2028 using Strutt & Parker’s payment calculator.

  • The Cat® S61 rugged smartphone to be showcased at LAMMA

A pocket-sized piece of ‘rugged’ technology, described by its makers as ‘much more than a smart phone’, is making its mark with farmers across the UK.

In addition to being shock, water and dustproof, reducing the need for frequent and costly repair or replacement, the flagship model Caterpillar phone features thermal imaging capability, laser-assisted distance measuring and an indoor air quality monitor.

Farmers are finding the ultra-durable, all-in-one tool, with its extended (12+ hours) battery life and in-built accessible technology, is helping them tackle daily challenges to make life on the farm a little easier.

  • The most comprehensive range of loading and materials handling solutions of any manufacturer will be highlighted by JCB at the LAMMA show on 8/9 January when examples of a diverse choice of machines will be displayed alongside the unique JCB Fastrac tractor range.

"We had a busy stand right from the word go, visitors were engaged by what we had to show them. I think LAMMA has been re-established as a more comfortable, more accessible ‘must attend’ show." Adrian Winnett, Argo Tractors
