The green poly pedestals worked well before but Plug&Cool are always trying to improve its products and make sure they are as easy to use as possible. They want to make sure farmers are using the best possible product, so they have made some changes to their classic pedestal.

Technical Specifications

Manufactured in their UK warehouse, the new pedestals have an impressive range of specifications. The redesigned pedestals are 300mm taller - adding another 48 slots to increase airflow through the grain pile. The perforations are 125mm x 3.5mm, so large enough that the air flows out smoothly, but with no chance of being blocked by grain. This keeps the air flowing equally and makes for more effective crop conditioning in deeper grain piles of up to 6m.

Plug&Cool are continually testing and improving their products. Polypropylene is consistently hard-wearing, thick, and sturdy. This decreases the chance of the pedestals buckling or being damaged when the grain is loaded in and out of the store, along with reduced condensation preventing rust and wasted grain which is a common issue the farmer deals with when using metal pedestals.

Combined with Plug&Cool aluminium fans which are fitted with highly efficient IE3 electric motors, the Plug&Cool pedestal is an effective and efficient solution for cooling and conditioning grain.
