Proudly supporting the farm building industry since 1956
Next year marks a very special milestone for the Rural and Industrial Design and Building Association (RIDBA) as we celebrate our 70th anniversary.
From our humble beginnings in 1956 as the Farm Building Association, through our evolution into the Rural Design and Building Association, to the organisation we proudly are today, RIDBA has been at the heart of the farm building industry for seven decades.
To mark this landmark anniversary, honorary member Clive Mander has spent the past four years meticulously researching and compiling a detailed history of RIDBA.
This publication, due to be released at LAMMA, captures the association’s journey, documenting key milestones, influential personalities, and significant achievements. It offers a fascinating insight into how RIDBA has shaped and supported the industry, championing the interests of our members and the wider rural and industrial community.
Our presence at LAMMA this year is the perfect opportunity to reflect on our history while looking ahead to the future.
RIDBA remains committed to supporting our members with guidance, training, and expertise, ensuring the rural and industrial building sector continues to thrive. The upcoming 70th-anniversary publication will not only celebrate our past but also inspire the next generation of professionals who will carry forward our mission.
We look forward to sharing our history, insights, and plans with all visitors at LAMMA, and to celebrating the achievements of an organisation that has proudly served its members since 1956.
