Another new product to be featured on the Lynx stand at this year's LAMMA Show will be the MC190 loader-mounted hedge and branch trimmer, which will be displayed fitted to the new Stoll TracLift front loader.

The MC190, designed and engineered to mount on to a wide range of front loaders and telehandlers, is a Germany-based joint-venture between Group Schumacher, specialists in Combine knife and drive technology and Baler knotter systems, alongside agricultural, grassland and forestry equipment manufacturers, Düvelsdorf.

The MC190 offers a host of features and benefits designed to make life easier for professionals tasked with maintaining hedgerows and woodland in the agricultural and landscaping sectors. Tool-free width adjustment based on a parallelogram principle is standard in five stages from 0.88m to 1.93m. As an option, infinitely variable hydraulic width adjustment is also available from the driver’s seat. Hydraulic lines are safely laid within the frame to protect against damage from falling cut material. For a precise cut, the MC190 is also equipped with an integrated angle display. This allows a very simple visual control of the desired cutting angle.

Thanks to the versatile D-LOCK system, the MC190 fits on many common carrier vehicles – from loader tractors to yard and telehandlers to municipal vehicles. Three hydraulically operated shear heads are available for the MC190 offering varying working widths and branch cutting capacities up to 6cm, while the AxeCut wedge blades ensure a clean cut every time.

Other features include mechanical start-up protection, shut-off supports and integrated knife protection.
