Introducing UTV3023
UTV3023: The Design Process
We wanted to develop a light to outshine anything on the market - UTV3023 was the answer. The perfect blend between design and performance.
Ideation and CAD Drawings
Like all our new products we have developed, the UTV3023 didn’t just happen overnight. It’s the result of a long journey of research and development, ensuring that it's not only exceptional but also upholds UTV Products’ premium quality standards. Our in-house engineers started with CAD designs to work out how the PCB would fit inside the mould and conducted thorough testing, including thermal analysis.
The 3D Models and Prototypes
We took things a step further by producing 3D-printed prototypes for fitment trials onto machines that UTV3023 would be fitted to. As the design was just as important as the performance, the models also helped us visualise further how the lights would look once made. These prototypes helped us make any necessary adjustments before moving on to alpha testing and securing E-mark certification.
The Testing
We produced a small batch of UTV3023 units to conduct tests on the 120W LED work light. The advanced technology inside marked a significant innovation in the world of LED work lighting.
Our goal was to confirm that the beam technology and lens design truly enhanced the light's performance before introducing it to the market. The results exceeded expectations: this 120W, 9600-lumen LED achieved an impressive 1 lux at 135 metres while maintaining the flood beam pattern. This ensures both wide-angle coverage and distance.
