Over the past 18 months, Camgrain has undergone significant positive change—reducing costs and charges, enhancing membership flexibility, and continuing to invest in cutting-edge technology. Our goal remains clear: to deliver the very best service and value to our farmer members.

If you’re looking to diversify your farming assets or are limited on space and need a reliable grain storage partner, Camgrain is here to help. We have recently invested in an additional two state-of-the-art colour sorters, designed to efficiently remove ergot and other unwanted admixtures. This upgrade enables access to premium markets while further reducing the cost of ergot removal for our members.

We have also frozen the annual Stage 1 storage and handling charge at £9.90 per tonne, probably the most competitive price for a farmer’s co-operative you will have come across.

A substantial change we made for Harvest 25 we abolished the Stage 2 charge (£9.45p/t in 2024) and replaced it with a haulage cost to your closest store.

Ergot cleaning charges have been further reduced and now start £4 per tonne.

Camgrain has added flexibility to our offering with a Fixed Term with option, this allows Farmers the chance to join Camgrain for a 2-to-3-year period, enjoying the benefits of full membership with no long-term commitment.

In addition to our added flexibility in 2025 we trialled an off-peak over-delivery option, allowing members to send in additional crop once we've started to outload some of the harvest intake. This option offered lower handling costs at a reduced rate of £5 per ton, plus haulage charges (instead of the standard £9.90 per ton handling charge). We plan to continue offering this off-peak over-delivery flexibility to members for 2026. This off-peak option gives members an opportunity to save on handling costs when Camgrain is storing their crop during the quieter months, once the harvest intake has been processed.

Camgrain also has some of the lowest drying charges found anywhere in the industry!
