Camgrain: Investing in Efficiency, Innovation and Member Value

Camgrain Hall: 8-9 Stand information: 8-9.230
Over the past three years, Camgrain has undergone significant positive change. We have reduced costs and charges, increased membership flexibility and continued to invest in cutting-edge technology. Our goal remains clear: to deliver the very best service and value for our farmer members.

If you are looking to diversify your farming assets, or are limited on space and need a reliable grain storage partner, Camgrain is here to help.

Investing in technology

Alongside further investment in state-of-the-art colour sorters, we have recently installed a new BoMill protein sorting plant.

This cutting-edge technology gives us greater flexibility in how we handle grain. It can be used to bring a bulk up to the required specification or, where protein levels are particularly high, separate higher-protein fractions so that their additional value is not lost.

It is another example of how Camgrain is investing to make more of every crop and maximise returns for our members.

Greater membership flexibility

Camgrain has also introduced a Fixed Term with Option membership, giving farmers the opportunity to join for a two- or three-year period.

This allows members to enjoy the benefits of full Camgrain membership without making a long-term commitment.

More choice when marketing your grain

We have recently partnered with Hectare Trading and StoneX (Futures Market), giving members greater flexibility in how they market their feed grain.

These partnerships have already enabled members to access premiums and marketing opportunities that may otherwise not have been available to them.

Other feed products can also be sold on an ex-store basis to third parties.

Competitive storage and handling charges

For the 2026 harvest, our Stage 1 storage and handling charge has been frozen for the third consecutive year at just £9.90 per tonne.

We believe this represents some of the most competitive pricing available from a farmer-owned co-operative.

2027 charges are yet to be released.

Flexible haulage options

Where haulage is arranged through Camgrain, members pay the haulage cost to their nearest Camgrain store, even if the grain is ultimately delivered to another Camgrain site.

Other haulage options are also available.

Reduced cleaning and drying costs

Our ergot cleaning charges have been reduced further and now start from just £5 per tonne.

Camgrain also continues to offer some of the lowest drying charges in the industry, helping members keep post-harvest costs under control.
