Lamma Show 2014

14 February 2014

The LAMMA 2014 show took place on 22 and 23 January in its new location at the East of England showground, Peterborough.

Celebrating its 33rd anniversary in 2014, LAMMA has emerged from humble beginnings as a local show with some 50 exhibitors and 2,500 visitors to become the UK’s largest farm machinery, equipment and agricultural services show in the UK. In 2014 the show boasted nearly nnn exhibitors and attracted in excess of 4nn,nnn visitors from the UK and overseas, reinforcing its reputation as the highlight in the agricultural machinery calendar.

Relocated to the East of England Showground, Peterborough. Cliff Preston, LAMMA Event Director said “LAMMA prides itself on being the UK’s leading farm machinery equipment and services show and we are dedicated to offering a show that can continue to develop and provide both exhibitors and visitors with the best possible experience. After a lot of discussion and consultation with the market, we decided to make the move to do exactly that. This new location is ideal as it will both allow for the show’s growth and will also help us to overcome many of the challenges visitors and exhibitors have highlighted – specifically by making access easier for both exhibitors and visitors. Despite the continued sucess and growth, the show will be staying true to its roots.

Although the location changed, the fundamentals of the show most definitely did not,” said Cliff. “We are committed to preserve the unique heritage and the friendly and informal atmosphere of the LAMMA show.  It remains, at its heart, an easy and free to attend event for farmers to see the latest agricultural machinery, equipment and services from around the world.

"We will reap the rewards from coming to LAMMA. Lots of leads, lots of requests for special orders, and building our profile has been something that has stood out for us exhibiting at LAMMA. I don't think you can put a monetary value on that at all." James Hudson, Director, JF Hudson (First time LAMMA exhibitor)
