  • Stand space has been filling up quickly for LAMMA 2019 at the venue’s new location, the NEC near Birmingham. Just under three quarters of the stand space has been booked and more than 450 exhibitors confirmed.

“The combination of the NEC’s indoor, modern and professional halls and thousands of visitors looking to invest in equipment and services has created a lot of interest; so much so that a number of halls are now nearly sold out,” says Elisabeth Mork-Eidem, Group Events Director at AgriBriefing Ltd. “Both visitor and exhibitor feedback has been incredibly supportive, with a lot of real excitement regarding this important development for the UK Agricultural Industry. At AgriBriefing we work hard with all parts of the industry and believe that LAMMA at the NEC will be the professional event that such an important industry deserves.”

  • This year's LAMMA show was on track to be the most successful yet until the weather took a turn for the worse, leading to the suspension of the second day.

However, the weather changed dramatically overnight and violent winds battered the site before daybreak of the second morning, leaving event organiser AgriBriefing (previously Briefing Media) no option but to cancel the rest of the show.

  • We have received a number of questions about the decisions made this morning which regrettably led to the cancellation of Day 2 of LAMMA 2018. As you can understand, our team were faced with a very fluid situation but I hope the following will explain some of the process that was followed.
  • This year, we’ve made it even easier to download and use the event app. Here’s 9 great reasons why you should download the LAMMA app to make the most of your time at the show.

  • A new series of seminars on farm safety will take place at LAMMA ’18, which returns to the East of England Showground, Peterborough on January 17 and 18, 2018.

The seminars will take place in the Farm Safety Zone, a new area dedicated to help reduce the high number of deaths and injuries on UK farms.

Specialists from leading health and safety consultancy Safety Revolution, which is sponsoring the zone, and contributors from other areas of the agricultural sector will deliver the seminars.
