Lamma 18

The UK's premier agricultural event

Welcome to LAMMA '19

LAMMA 2019 will move to the NEC, creating the UK’s premier indoor agricultural event.

LAMMA will continue to be a free-to-attend and parking event and will remain on its proven and successful January timeline.

We are excited by the opportunities that this new venue creates for the LAMMA show. LAMMA has a deserved reputation as the meeting place for the entire industry at a time of the year when key buying decisions are made. The move to the NEC will provide an entirely indoor environment, bringing it up to the professional standards that are expected of a market-leading event.

The NEC is the UK’s leading exhibition venue and provides unparalleled scale, facilities and transport links, and we are looking forward to working with the NEC to ensure that LAMMA grows and develops further to serve this important market.

LAMMA will retain its focus on farm machinery, equipment and services and will build on the reputation earned over more than 30 years.

The first LAMMA show at the NEC will take place on Tuesday 8th and Wednesday 9th January 2019.

Show News

  • Stand space has been filling up quickly for LAMMA 2019 at the venue’s new location, the NEC near Birmingham. Just under three quarters of the stand space has been booked and more than 450 exhibitors confirmed.

“The combination of the NEC’s indoor, modern and professional halls and thousands of visitors looking to invest in equipment and services has created a lot of interest; so much so that a number of halls are now nearly sold out,” says Elisabeth Mork-Eidem, Group Events Director at AgriBriefing Ltd. “Both visitor and exhibitor feedback has been incredibly supportive, with a lot of real excitement regarding this important development for the UK Agricultural Industry. At AgriBriefing we work hard with all parts of the industry and believe that LAMMA at the NEC will be the professional event that such an important industry deserves.”

  • This year's LAMMA show was on track to be the most successful yet until the weather took a turn for the worse, leading to the suspension of the second day.

The show was scheduled to take place on Wednesday 17th and Thursday 18th January and opened on a crisp and sunny morning.

However, the weather changed dramatically overnight and violent winds battered the site before daybreak of the second morning, leaving event organiser AgriBriefing (previously Briefing Media) no option but to cancel the rest of the show.

  • We have received a number of questions about the decisions made this morning which regrettably led to the cancellation of Day 2 of LAMMA 2018. As you can understand, our team were faced with a very fluid situation but I hope the following will explain some of the process that was followed.
